Snug Plugs™

Snug Plugs™ are designed to provide effective punctal occlusion for the treatment of dry eye. Like all products from FCI Ophthalmics, Snug Plugs™ have been painstakingly researched, and they are manufactured from the most advanced materials. Snug Plugs™ are made of medical grade silicone and are preloaded in a stretched position, returning to their natural shape when released in the punctum. Before removing the inserter, it should be verified that the plug has been released into the punctum.

"Ready-Set" Punctum Plugs

These ultra-thin, medical-grade silicone collarette plugs are used for punctal occlusion. "Ready-Set" punctum plugs conform to the natural anatomy of the eyelid for maximum patient comfort. For ease of use, these punctal plugs from FCI are pre-loaded on a disposable inserter/dilator device and are easily removed with forceps.

PVP Perforated Plugs

Coated with a thin layer of slick polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) silicone, these perforated punctal plugs from FCI Ophthalmics have been designed by J.A. Bernard, M.D. to enhance drainage and to prevent the collection of debris on the surface of the plugs. PVP perforated plugs are used for punctal stenosis and partial occlusion.

TearSaver Plugs

TearSaver Plugs from FCI help physicians perform highly effective punctal occlusion procedures. For increased comfort and less risk of rubout, TearSaver punctal plugs have been designed with a tapered-shaft design so that the plug anchors securely in the puncta. TearSaver plugs are also preloaded on a disposable inserter/dilator for ease of insertion.
